86th Foundational Course for IPS Officers
 

Five Administrative Training Institutes from different States across the country, have been identified by Lal Bahadhur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, for conduct of 86th Foundational Course for IPS Officers parallely along with it. Of the five institutes identified by LBSNAA, Mussoorie, ATI-Mysore, is also one among them to conduct Foundational Course for IPS Officers.

As you are aware Administrative Training Institute, Mysore, is a State Level Apex Institute imparting training to Officers of different departments of Government of Karnataka at various levels.

At the behest of LBSNAA, Mussoorie, ATI, Mysore, is conducting 86th Foundational Course for IPS Officers from 29th August 2011 to 9th December 2011. 62 IPS Officers would be attending this course representing different States. The objective of the course is to enable the participating IPS Officers inculcating in them the essentials of Public Administration, Law and Order, Financial Management, Legal Aspects, besides making realizing their duties and responsibilities in upholding the dignity of civilian society and provide justice to the people within the framework of the Governance. The officers are also encouraged to develop right attitude and values, incullcate self discipline and high degree of honesty, integrity, committment and conviction to Pulic Service as enshrined in the Constitution of India.
